Behind The Scenes Productions Acquires Continental Air Show Productions
Continental Air Show Productions (CASP, ICAS #4) is excited to announce a change of ownership. Long-time Operations Director, Dave Olmstead, will assume sole ownership effective December 1, 2019.
CASP, which was founded by airshow industry pioneer Bill Bordeleau in 1969, is wrapping up its 50th successful airshow season in 2019. Guided by Bill’s vision, leadership, and personal engagement, CASP has continuously evolved over the decades effectively servicing the airshow industry. Since Bill’s passing in early 2017, Bill’s wife, Dar, has proudly maintained the family engagement with the business.
After 50 rewarding years, Dar is pleased the CASP legacy will continue under the leadership of Dave Olmstead. Dave has been working as the CASP Operations Director for nearly 15 years, handling the scheduling, equipment acquisition, and serving as primary point of contact for the busy schedule of airshows. Olmstead’s professional background includes producing events, videos, marketing materials, along with radio and television production. In addition, he served in the U.S. Army and Ohio Army National Guard for almost 20 years.
Merging the resources of CASP with Olmstead’s other business, Behind the Scenes Productions (ICAS #3680), will enable expanded offerings for future airshows serviced by CASP. Contact information for Dave Olmstead is (513) 617-0906 or Dave@continentalairshows.com
